Start of Global BPO for PSA Warranty 

MSXI Europe runs a BPO for global warranty operations of PSA Group. In order to build greater efficiencies, they have been exploring to move some of this operation to a lower cost market. We at Sewells MSXI India were also looking for a similar opportunity. We are happy to inform that we have started a new global warranty BPO based at Chennai that is in the process of taking over operations from MSXI Europe. 

This will further strengthen our global relationship with PSA Group and mark the start of a new chapter for India. 

We have hired 27 resources already. We will have a team of up to 40, all based at Chennai by end of this year. 

This opens up lot of new opportunities with PSA global and PSA India as they are in the process of setting up local manufacturing and plan to launch Citroen brand in India. 

This business is being headed by Himanshu Dhamesha with Srinivasa Raghavan as the Project Manager. We wish them all the best.

Our WINS for the quarter

Honda Cars

The first quarter of 2019 has also seen us winning some new accounts. One of the most prestigious among these is Honda. We executed more than 200 days of training for launch of the stunning new Honda Civic. The trainings done and the materials developed have won us accolades across various departments at Honda. This is a great start for us and congrats to North SBU team in their perseverance and the Solution team for developing great content. 

Volvo Cars

Another great win was with Volvo cars. Deepak Agrawal, Head Aftersales and Technical Services North has done a tremendous job by winning this new account. We will be developing Service process manual for Volvo cars and implement these processes at some pilot dealerships. At the same time North SBU won similar project on the Sales side.

Bajaj, KTM, Jawa and DICV

In addition to this, Jayjeet Sarma, Head Aftersales and Technical Services West has won new projects at Bajaj, KTM, Jawa and DICV. 

Training Projects with BMW, VW, FCA, VECV and TVS

We have also won BMW Training Academy project in front of stiff competition from 7 agencies. It took a well coordinated and combined efforts of multiple SBU heads like Rajesh, Deepak and active involvement of our VP Sales APMEA, Xavier Vandame. Santosh Kulkarni and his West 2 team has won 2 new training projects, one with VW and another one with FCA. While VW and FCA projects are already rolled out with all trainers onboarded, recruitment for BMW is underway. Jayjeet Sarma and his AS&Tech West team are in expansion mode by winning more technical training positions with Volvo Eicher and TVS accounts. Congratulations and best wishes to these teams.
